What are we looking for?

The Marketing Administrator position supports the Marketing Team with a primary focus on data mining, database management & tracking, marketing and company communications support.  The Marketing Administrator may also be asked to serve as backup to other administrative or marketing functions which include: writing, photography, social media, website administration and basic design/layout functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Datamining, database maintenance + data entry, for purposes including, but not limited to: sales prospecting, marketing campaigns, internal communications, public relations.

  • Performs administrative record-keeping and reporting duties; assists in budget and expense tracking; maintains data integrity in internal legacy system via performing regular data cleanup and address change duties.

  • Serves as a backup content writer for marketing campaigns, public relations, social media, company newsletter, internet and intranet.

  • Trade show support, including completing show orders, assisting with pre- and post-show marketing programs and coordinating all aspects of show shipments & deliveries.

  • Supports company photography & videography efforts as needed at company functions.

  • Manages content on the company’s internal & external websites, Driver App & social media platforms as needed.

  • Supports sales & prospecting efforts by developing and distributing sales and proposal presentations in Power Point, Point Drive and other platforms.

  • Works with graphics and layout to support Marketing projects.

  • Spearheads departmental asset organization and archiving efforts.

  • Provides general administrative support for the Marketing Manager and other team members.

  • Spearheads ongoing customer referral program monitoring & communications to Drivers.

  • Supports departmental email marketing, campaign development, social media & public relations efforts by participating in creative sessions, list scrubbing + updates, boost program setup, and other content dissemination.

  • Primary resource in building/managing marketing jobs in internal project management system; generating regular reports.

  • Performs other duties and assumes other responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Demonstrated work experience, preferably 2+ years working in an administrative capacity in Marketing or related team.

  • Demonstrated experience in data mining / database management.

  • Fluency in all Microsoft Office programs – especially Excel – required.

  • Knowledge of Adobe Suite, WordPress and Google Calendar.

  • Photography skills a plus.

  • Post-secondary education. (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree highly desirable)

  • Experience or ability to learn Marketing software platforms & systems (InDesign, Photoshop, Dun & Bradstreet, Sales Navigator).

  • Strong business writing skills a plus.

  • Must be proficient in responding to internal and external customer situations, responding to customer needs as required.

  • Must be able to both think creatively and provide creative contributions to projects.

  • Must be able to demonstrate a proactive commitment to ATS corporate values and the success of all staff.
