Position serves as the main point of contact for Competitive Leasing working with both Independent Contractors full cycle from lease and insurance commencement through truck purchase or lease renewal.  Position is responsible for ensuring that profitability is achieved for Competitive Leasing leading the balance of leased drivers and operational departmental needs through effective lease management.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Manage the lease process; drafts, reviews, and approves lease arrangements while educating contractor on lease requirements and purchase options
  2. Identifying, developing and implementing to expand offerings that enhance the success of the lease holder and the company.
  3. Develops and coordinates corrective action processes related to lease violations.
  4. Provides a standard for customer service associated with all lease issues.
  5. Manages the pre and post inspection process for leased trucks.
  6. Manages the scheduling of prep and maintenance, reviewing work orders, monitoring repairs and warranties associated with leased trucks.
  7. Manages the business partner relationships, communicating lease issues and needs including maintenance, operations, claims, finance and recruiting departments.
  8. Serves as an ambassador for purchase or lease renewal.
  9. Direct reporting relationship to CES in St. Cloud, MN with a dotted -line reporting to Warren
  10. Performs other duties, tasks, and responsibilities as assigned

Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)       

  • 4-5 years of experience in Operations, Maintenance, and/or Leasing preferred
  • Sound financial acumen is a must
  • Strong interpersonal skills working within all levels of the organization.
  • Solid verbal and written communication ability.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to learn the business.
  • Related technical experience in areas of operations, maintenance, and or leasing
  • Demonstrates a focus on results achievement.
  • Displays financial understanding and ability.
